Advocacy Cabinet |
Monitors, responds to, initiates state legislative and/or regulatory proposals with potential impact on psychologists and/or access to psychological services Establishes and oversees workgroups to investigate and make recommendations regarding issues based on psychological evidence and/or affecting psychology training or practice Monitors and responds to federal legislative and/or regulatory proposals in collaboration with the APA Practice Organization |
Public Education Committee & WI Wellness Initiative |
Works with APA Public Education office to facilitate public education activities, train psychologists to engage in public education activities in their communities, and to disseminate psychological information to the public. |
Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program |
Works with APA Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program to educate businesses about the features of a healthy workplace Nominates Wisconsin businesses for state and national awards recognizing psychologically healthy workplaces |

Professional Issues |
Ethics & Professional Practice consultation team serves as "hotline" consultant to members & consumers & may refer to other organizations or agencies. Members write educational articles, present sessions at Annual Convention and other CE events. |
Research Committee |
Research Poster Session – plans and conducts research poster session at Annual Conventions Poster Awards (Margaret Bernauer Psychology Research Award) are underwritten by the Wisconsin Psychology Foundation. |
Disaster Response Network |
Work with the Red Cross in response to natural disasters Provide pro bono services in response to a variety of local crises |
