About Us

The Wisconsin Psychological Foundation (WPF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the field of psychology through charitable, educational, and scientific endeavors. We are committed to fostering the growth and development of psychology by providing financial support for education, research, and public awareness initiatives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support the advancement of psychology education, professional commitment, and service by psychologists, as well as to educate the public about psychological topics and issues. We achieve this by generating, accepting, and distributing funds for scholarships, educational conferences, and research in the field of psychology.
What We Do

Scholarships and Grants

We provide financial awards to individuals and organizations that demonstrate a commitment to the field of psychology. These funds are used to support educational and research initiatives that align with our mission. WPF provides three graduate student scholarships to deserving applicants each year in addition to graduate and undergraduate poster awards at the Wisconsin Psychological Association (WPA) Annual Conference.

Educational Conferences

WPF supports and hosts conferences aimed at disseminating psychological knowledge and promoting professional development among psychologists. For example, WPF funds keynote speakers for the WPA Annual Conference and Summer CE Series each year.
Governance

The Wisconsin Psychological Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of dedicated individuals who manage the affairs of the foundation. The Board includes members from the Wisconsin Psychological Association (WPA) to ensure alignment and collaboration between the two organizations. Our Board is committed to upholding our mission and overseeing the distribution of funds in accordance with our bylaws.
