2020 Wisconsin Psychology Foundation Scholarship


The Wisconsin Psychology Foundation is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for two $1,500.00 scholarships awarded to students enrolled in Wisconsin professional psychology graduate programs. These scholarships were established in honor of state and national leaders in the field of psychology who also served as Presidents of the Wisconsin Psychological Association.

They are:
                                                                                        The Asher Pacht, Ph.D., Scholarship
The Richard Hurlbut, Ph.D., Scholarship

Students interested in applying for one of these scholarships must be a current Member with the Wisconsin Psychological Association (application click here) and submit the following:

  1. A completed application, including all necessary attachments
  2. Documentation that the applicant has completed at least one year of graduate study as a fulltime student enrolled in a Wisconsin program
    that grants a doctoral degree in psychology (EdD, PhD, PsyD)
  3. Membership # as a Student Affiliate in the Wisconsin Psychological Association
  4. Transcript(s) of all post-secondary schools attended
  5. Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a professor in the graduate program in which the applicant is currently enrolled)
  6. An essay by the applicant limited to 500 words describing why the committee should consider him/her for a scholarship. The committee will consider academic achievement, professional goals, and history of service to the community and to  psychology in their decision
  7.  Current CV

November 30th, 2020
